Missi Roti
Missi Roti is a good change from our regular rotis and is also a healthy option. It is a Punjabi speciality made in tandoor during winters, but it is also an important part of Rajasthani cuisine. The perfect combination of gram flour, wheat flour and the masala’s make this bread mouthwatering. This roti is full of nutrition, easy to make and goes very well with all the masala curries.

Missi Roti Ingredients-
- Wheat flour -1 katori
- Besan -2 katori
- Coriander seeds- 1tbsp
- Jeera -1tsp
- Salt -as per taste
- Anardana powder -1tsp
- Chaat masala -1/2 tsp
- Black salt -1tsp
- Black pepper powder -1tsp
- Onion finely chopped -1small
- Green Coriander leaves -1 tbsp
- Ajwain (Carom seeds) -1tsp
- Red chili powder -1tsp
- Haldi powder -1tsp
- Hing -1tsp
- Oil -2tbsp
- Ghee – for roasting
Method-
- Dry roast coriander seeds and jeera make a coarse powder of it.
- In a large bowl mix together wheat flour, besan and all the masala. Mix the ingredients together. Now add water and knead a semi-soft dough.
- Make small round balls out of the dough and flatten them with a rolling pin.
- Heat a Tawa and roast the rotis. Apply ghee and roast it properly.
- Missi Rotis are ready to be served!
